Cholesterol Lowering Foods

I didn’t think I had much weight to lose though I had a bit of a spare tire. I was tired quite often, my legs and back ached all the time so I was constantly taking pain relievers. My cholesterol was high and my Doctor wanted to put me on medication.

I hadn’t thought about losing any weight or trying to improve my health until I saw the fantastic results my wife had with Herbalife shakes

My wife had started on the Herbalife food products 2 months previously to lose weight and not only was she losing weight she had more energy and less aches and pains so when she said I really should try the products as well I went for it. Well what she really said was “I’d like to live life in the fast lane but I’m married to a speed bump!”

Anyway within the first few days I started to feel better, I had more energy! Within 6 months I’d lost about 20 pounds and 6 inches around my waist, my back and legs felt better than they had felt in years and my cholesterol was down! I very rarely take any pain relievers now and my Dr. has said no need for cholesterol medication just keep on using Herbalife.

At a family function last week my cousin told me every time she sees me I look younger, I sure feel younger! My wife commented to my sister that “she felt like she was now living with a scud missile”, I’ll take that as a compliment I think!

Together with  ShapeWorks Quickstart I use Herbalifeline(Omega 3) and Herbal Complex.

Cholesterol Lowering Foods:

The inclusion of at least 25g Soy protein per day as part a diet low in saturated fats can help reduce blood cholesterol. Two Formula 1 shakes (vanilla) provide 17.8 g of soy protein(71% of the suggested intake of 25 g). An additional 7.2 grams may be obtained from other foods, such as soy nuts(10.6 g soya protein per 90g serving) or Herbalifes Personalised Protein  Powder (4.5g soy protein/6g serving) can provide over 25g of soya protein.
